Weird Church – What’s Joy Got to Do with It? (Teaching)

Joy is often described as the Christianese term for happiness.

But Joy is much more than just happiness, Joy is something that has to take hold in our lives, and when it does it creates a cyclical pattern of making us generous (not just with money, this isn’t one of *those* sermons) which then gives us more joy because we’re generous.

Having Joy is also an indicator of an inward condition and transformation, it doesn’t mean you’re never sad or have issues, but if you’re constantly complaining, fighting, and have no joy in your life, it could be a sign of a deeper issue.
