A Man Like Myself (Psalm 55:8-19) (Part 1)

David wrote of an individual in Psalm 55:8-19, “A man like myself.” When the David wrote this messianic psalm (a song about the Messiah) he wrote, “If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend…”

Sometimes the individuals who betray us aren’t our enemies, but are instead our close friends, our families. maybe even someone like ourselves.
